Its been such a long time since I did anything in pencils and pastels...my friend Maria from "Pencil Sanity" (you will find her among my fallowers) has inspired me to dig out the dusty boxes and say hallow to my old friends. While I was at Uni studing, all my presentational work was in pencil and pastel-5 YEARS OF IT- and than when I left Uni I left them behind too. This drawing was basically just me having fun with some old friends. I might frame this pencil and pastel lady and put her in my 'Small Works Shop' once I find a frame for her.

Lovely work here Vesna! Your "friends" should come out more often i'd say!
It is a good thing to go between mediums keeping your fresh and also stimulated and motivated.
Don't pack these away just yet, would be keen on seeing you upload a few more figure works like this!!
Keep up the hard work.

Thank you Lisa...I have been absent a bit, but I'm going through a bit of financial crisis (HOM lost his job, and I'm not doing so well in this economic crisis-and there is 4 little ones to feed and school)so painting hasn't been very high on my list-I find that I either can't paint at all during such depressions of mind, or ,it is all I can do!!!

I am so pleased that I was able to give you some inspiration, but truly it is the other way around every time I visit your blog. Your work is stunning and you are a master no matter what medium you decide to let work your wonders.
I hope that soon you will get passed the depression thing. I suffer from these headaches and at times they get so bad that I can't draw. Just keep on plugging away and remember to keep an eye on the doors that open and the ones that closed.
